Cask@GBBF2008. Copper colour, small off-white head. Aroma is caramel, sweet wood and mild paperyness. Flavour is wood and paper along with toffee and chocolate. Mild smoked notes.

Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, toffee. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. (080808)

Sep 7, 2008 Cask, 5.2% at GBBF08. Almost clear brown colour. Citric flavour, some sourness, a little rough. There is also some OK dark maltiness, but not enough to cover the sourness.
