Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a dark red-brown color with a medium sized khaki head. The aroma was liglty sweet and nutty. The flavor was sweet, tangy, nutty and faintly roasty. The finish was long and nutty. Simple but nicely quaffable.

On draft at the brewpub. Aroma gives a hint to the deep caramels and middle roast this beer carries. Lightly charred, but maple-brown in sweetness. Pours a rubied brown, edging clear with a faint rim in off-white. Flavor smacks heavily with Crystal malts and heavy toasted caramels, edging towards deeper roast-like char. Hops not really present. Sweetness is balanced by the toast. This actually has a bit more flavor than most of the other beers here, even if it is a little unbalanced. Maintains cleanliness in drying out.

Dark brown with red hues on the edges and sides, dark tan head. Nose of toasted grains, light notes of dark fruit, some Munich malt. Flavor is resinous maple and carmael malt, little to no bitterness, but some dry toasty flavors.
