bhensonb (4182), Woodland, California, USA Oct 27, 2007 Bright pale gol color with a white head that coated the sides of the glass. Noble hop aroma. Thin bodied with creamy carbonation. Flavor of pale malt with a citrus or spice note. The finish is dry and has a nice level of bitter. DYCSoccer17 (2187), Davis, California, USA Dec 12, 2006 Half pint sampled at the brewpub. Clean, faint, lightly grassy, light citrus-hopped nose present. This is pleasant, but a tad faint. Transparent golden-blonde body with a wispy whitish head that leaves some magnificent lacing as the beer is consumed. Spicy, peppery, crisp, snappy hoppinness to start. This is quite assertive. Light bisuity notes follow in the middle. Finish picks up where it started with more dry, and quite bitter hops. Tastes like Saaz and something else. I think this is enjoyable, but it might be a little over-hopped for a pils. Either way, this is still very enjoyable for such a low gravity beer.
