Elk Grove Rubicon Amber

Draft at the brewpub. Dark amber color with an off-white head that quickly dissipated - but left bubbles on the glass. Aroma of caramel malt and mild hop. Thin to medium body with a lot of carbonation that has a bite. The flavor is caramel with a hint of smoke; there is enough bitter to balance. Dryish finish, and a little bitter hangs in.
