Aug 27, 2004 Dark amberDecent head with some larger bubbles. Very nice carmel malt and hop aroma. Sweet caramel up front and in the finish. Caramel finish builds with a little hop bitterness. Tends a little towards syrupy flavour. Body is ok. As the label advertises probably very good with pizza or spicy food. A little sweet on its own.

Aug 23, 2003 So very boring. Glad I just drank this at a party (which was busted) than trying to convince myself that this was a good beer at home. Very bland and nothing much going on. Uncreative.

Light hazy, amber/rusty color with a light fizzy head & some lacing. The aroma is nutty & boring with notes of caramel & lotion. The flavor is boring, watery, lightly sweet with faint hops & malts. Eh, not horrible for an 8AM beer on the road.
