Enniskillen (1624), Port Angeles, Washington, USA Jul 10, 2007 Amber body, no head. Aroma is pretty fruity, caramel, and brown sugar. Taste has a nice crystal malt, sweet, with a nice hoppiness. presario (2500), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Aug 27, 2004 Dark amberDecent head with some larger bubbles. Very nice carmel malt and hop aroma. Sweet caramel up front and in the finish. Caramel finish builds with a little hop bitterness. Tends a little towards syrupy flavour. Body is ok. As the label advertises probably very good with pizza or spicy food. A little sweet on its own. FoolishMortal (948), San Diego, California, USA Aug 27, 2005 Deep golden color, small white head. Sweet malty aroma. Slightly toasty malt flavors with a tinge of earthen hop character in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium light. bb (2236), Martinez, California, USA Jul 11, 2008 Bottle. Nice reddish amber beer with an off-white head. Low malt and caramel aroma. Caramel, slight nutty malt flavor. Medium body. Lingering somewhat sweet caramel malt. Murphy (1759), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA Aug 23, 2003 So very boring. Glad I just drank this at a party (which was busted) than trying to convince myself that this was a good beer at home. Very bland and nothing much going on. Uncreative.
