Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned.
Beyond the Pale is a pale golden bitter brewed with a touch of Amber Malt. Pronounced floral hop aroma from the inclusion of North American Cascade hops and a long, dry hoppy finish.

Cask @ GBBF 08. Golden color, short head. Aroma of grapefruit. Bitter taste, bitter palate. Not much too say, but enjoyed it.

Cask at GBBF 08. Pours clear golden with a medium white froth. Fruity hop aroma with toffee in the background. Good bitterness, fruity hops with just that hint of toffee. A very nice pale ale.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Ealing Beer Festival.
Clean gold with no head. Full on grass and nettles in the aroma. It’s like being by a stream, really aromatic and spicy. Similar flavour but there is a kick of something in the finish that I can’t put my finger on but I know I don’t like. Good start, below par finish.

Tasting notes from 2004 Banbury beer festival. Golden, orange with frothy white head. Floral, citrus, and spice aroma notes. Had some characteristics of an APA. Citrus (grapefruit) dominates, with some sweet notes to tame it. However, a dry bitter finish.

ONce again another bitter beer under the cover of a blonde one. I don’t relly get it but I liked it.
