Very dark porter with a complex mocha coffee flavour - the perfect antidote to pale midsummer ales.

Cask at Ealing beer fest. Aroma is heavily roasty and coffee notes. Taste is again quite roasty and dry, yet seemed a bit thin and watery.

Cask gravity at Ealing BF 2008. Black with thin beige head. Good dry malt on aroma. Dry and some smoke on end. Good in mouth, good flavours. Some fruit, like dried plums. Cool. Fine.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel, Northampton. A black coloured beer with a beige head. Nice roasty nose with fishy characters. The taste is lovely. Roasted malts, coffee and really rich. Very long in the mouth, and really complex and tasty. Another great porter from this brewery.
