pivnizub (4007), Porúří, Germany Jun 7, 2008 Bottle (purchased at the Brauerei): Golden, very firm and lacy white head; solid pale-malty nose and solid aromatic Tettnang aromas; moderate bitter-sweet flavour with a solid malty base; light bodied, soft MF; creamy aromatic hoppy and pale-malty finish with a lingering bitterness. Superb franconian-bohemian Pilsener..... Quack-Duck (1977), Bodensee, Germany May 22, 2008 bottle, díky pivnizubovi! Clear strawy-golden yellow, mid-sized head. Medium-bodied, bitter-sweet. Malty and slightly hoppy, it reminds me of a Bohemian Pilsener, has attributes of a Czech 11°. A good one. MoritzF (4019), Ruhrpott, Germany May 19, 2008 (bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a fluffy white foam. Sweet, slightly grainy and minimal biscuity malt aroma with traces of citrus and herbal hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Malt-accented, slightly biscuit-like taste with a spicy rural touch; medium-dry, moderately sweet and quite hearty malty finish with a light hoppy bitterness. Quaffable mild and rural Landbier-Pils (13.05.08). bierkoning (5077), La Tropica, Netherlands Sep 25, 2002 Only beer from this tiny brewery. I drank it from tap on the terrace in front of the Brewery. Hoppy aroma. Barnyard smell, but maybe this was encouraged by the old-fashioned farm next to the brewery. Bit malty flavor. Hopbitter, hetbal and hay.
