Draft... Clear, very dark, burnt orange lager with a small, creamy khaki head. Subtle aroma with a light chocolate note. Perfectly-balanced, chocolatey flavor, but thin. Light-bodied and watery with medium carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish.

on tap-pours a creamy light tan head. Color is brown with red tint. Aroma is dark malt. Taste is dark malt, roasty. OK carbonation.

Burnt brown/red with a small tan head. Pleasant oasted malty aromsa. The flavor is much the same but there is a big hit of choclate at the end. Medium body very smooth drinking.

Deep brown, borders black space, milky white head. Malty chocolate, roasty, raisin, and rum in the nose. Flavors are chocolately and mild citrus hops. No other way to really describe it. Full bodied, pillow soft carbonation, semi dry finish. I agree with Jeff. A very good session brew from these guys...

Pours black and opaque (I think it was dark in the bar). Mild aromas. Flavor was a nice sweet roastedness with mild fruity esters that seem to be in all the Alpenhof brews. The flavors where fairly gentle but where very nice. This is a top notch session beer.
