| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 9, 2006 Dark walnut brown, one-finger khaki head. Dark syrup, slightly musty, bockish aroma. Tangy sweet, bock malty. Light bittering. Great pairing with the sausage dinner. Solid, but it needs some ooomph. Maybe a stiffer dose of German hops. aracauna (2392), Georgia, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 1/20 | Jul 20, 2006 It is nearly black. Some dark malt aroma and flavors, but very slight. The beer is sour. Honestly, if it weren’t for KP, I probably wouldn’t have hung around for all 8 brews. Half of the beers were sour infected, the other half were either diacetyl bombs or oxidized. jcwattsrugger (5581), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
