Apr 13, 2008 growler-pours a couple of bubbles and amber/copper color. Aroma is medium malt-caramel, medium fruit-orange, herbal. Taste is medium malt-caramel, medium fruit-orange/plum, honey, secondary herbal hops, yeasty. Medium body, almost syrupy. Minimum/no carbonation. Thanks to Ryan, glad he found his way back to Ellicott Mills!

Dec 9, 2006 Tangy, diacetyl aroma and flavor. Dark tea colored. Sweet, homebrewish, woody.

Feb 4, 2004 Clear amber appearance with a small head. Reserved nose. A very nice sweet malt taste with a fruity favor. Finished with a hint of toffee.

Jan 23, 2004 A sweet malty boch, pleasant and gentle on the tongue. Slightly light in color and body for the style, but definately boch in taste. A nice brew.

Jan 21, 2003 Lacking a bit in aroma, this one has some very nice malt characteristics. It starts out with restrained melon fruit (which works better in a bock than you would imagine), but the malt becomes more characteristically caramel as it warms. Good bock, I should say.
