beachbum25 (578), Powellville, Maryland, USA Nov 27, 2007 On tap @ the Brewpub. Cloudy copper color w/no head. Sweet malt aroma. Traces of caramel & sweet roasted malt, had more flavor than some of the other brews I tried here. Was really still only average though. Earthy, malty, finish. kp (6000), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Name: Alpenhof Marzen

Ungstrup (10824), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 11, 2007 Draft at the brewpub, July 2006. A hazy dark orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is very light with notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also light notes of diacethyl, giving it a rather fruity character, and roasted malt, leading to a dry end. The diacethyl is a dryback. Aurelius (2443), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Dec 9, 2006 Medium woody brown, thin off-white head. Lightly hazy. Candied, diacetyl aroma. Homebrewish. Tangy, woody, a bit buttery and lightly sweet. Medium body. Woody bitter finish with sweetness. aracauna (2219), Georgia, USA Jul 20, 2006 Poured into a hazed plastic cup in a dark room, so appearance is difficult to judge. I’m having trouble picking out any aroma. There’s some nuttiness in the flavor. Less of the off flavors or aromas of the other beers in this one. Not offensive, but bland.
