Aroma is pretty fruity, with berries, sweet malts, and floral hops. Taste is fruity, with notes of berries, and grapes with floral hops, and a medium bittering finish. Carbonation was very low, but otherwise this was a pretty enoyable maibock. hopscotch (5476), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 14, 2004 Finally a bock I can get into! Dark amber, creamy white head. Nose is full of rich dough, honey, malt, light caramel and fruits. Lots of sweet bread coated in honey with small bits of fresh citrus fruits. I’m not positive about all of the above after 2 22ozers at happy hour, but what I can tell you is that it was damn good! Medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, sweet malty finish. Great stuff!
