Orangish with nice white head. Nothing really stood out in this one either. Fairly weak Marzen from my opinion.

hazy copperish amber with a drippy lace head. it smells a bit tart, like honey and mostly of sweet buttery diacetyl...ick. the flavor is the same... oddly tart, diacetyl and weird. medium body with an acidic sharp mouth feel and oiliness.

Draft at the brewpub. Sweet, thick and malty Marzen. Mellow/low carbonation. Brown-amber color. Not aggressively flavored but enjoyable enough. Roasty, chocolate malt comes through as well. OK.

On Tap. dissappointing as it was not much different, a little more malt than pale lager and some color, very slightly cloudy, no head no lacing but too light to be special

Sweet aroma. Cloudy light copper color with no head. Minimal sweet caramel taste. Too watery.

On tap @ the Brewpub. Cloudy copper color w/no head. Sweet malt aroma. Traces of caramel & sweet roasted malt, had more flavor than some of the other brews I tried here. Was really still only average though. Earthy, malty, finish.

Draft at the brewpub, July 2006. A hazy dark orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is very light with notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also light notes of diacethyl, giving it a rather fruity character, and roasted malt, leading to a dry end. The diacethyl is a dryback.
