unclemike (423), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA Nov 20, 2008 12oz bottle pours golden with a short white head and lots of carbonation rising to the top. Aromas of blueberry over some crisp grain. Flavor is exactly that. Blueberry blended with crisp grain. I don’t think the flavor seems as artificial as others here make it out to be. It blends pretty well with the grains and slight grassy hops in this one. Almost like a pilsner blended with blueberries decoman (8), , Illinois, USA does not count Nov 2, 2008 I drink a lot of fruit wheat beers to me this was good, not over powering just a nice subtle blueberry flavor, I would go back for this whn I was in the area. blipp (961), Grand Island, New York, USA Oct 26, 2008 Bottle. Pours pale gold with a thin white head. The aroma is light and wheaty with fruity blueberry. The flavor is not overly sweet like many fruit/wheat ales, with a solid blueberry presence over a wheat/grain base. Not bad. Tessic (413), Brantford, Ontario, Canada Oct 20, 2008 This Wheat beer poured a clear light yellow colour with a soapy looking bright white head. To the nose there are scents of blueberries, must, jam and ...peas? First taste was light bodied and a little watery, with flavours of blueberries, must, peas and butter. Finish is thin with only blueberry flavour lasting. cheapdark (1652), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 3, 2008 Pale yellow with a nice blueberry aroma, or berries, at least. Color seems to have an ever so slight tinge of purple or blue but you’d never notice it unless you look closely. Initially comes across as a fairly bitter brew. Does has some fruit flavor but I bet the bitter beer lovers of this site love this stuff. Good tingly desired carbonation. Seems to have way more than 4% alky in the flavors. Yep, fruit flavors in there but at times difficult to ID. Lingering quite lasting bitter at end of each slug. More personality than yer typical flavored lager or light ale.
