Bottle.Small very fizzy ivory head that was mostly lasting, fair amount of lacing, transparent, fizzy, fast-rising carbonation, and an orange hue. Nose was malt, chocolate, sweet, and citrus hops. Ditto for the flavor with some roastiness and hint of smoke. Tingly mouthfeel and medium in body. Easy to drink, but better to be had of this style.

Jul 10, 2008 This brown ale poured a dark orange colour with a bright white foamy head. Scents include root vegetables, bark, earth and nuts. First taste is rich with a nutty roasted malt flavour. Finish is roasty with a slight bitter palate.

Jun 25, 2008 This bottled brew from Indianapolis, IN poured a small sized head of tan colored foamy finely sized mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a transparent golden brown typically carbonated body and a fair lacing. The aroma contained mild nutty brown malty notes. The mouth feel was tingly from start to finish. The flavor contained mild notes ot nuts and was slightly acidic.

Jun 24, 2008 Bottle. Pours red/brown with a fluffy beige head. Aroma is chestnut and almond. Medium body. Flavor has a light roasted quality, and nutty and caramel notes. Pretty good.
