Nate (2233), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 17, 2008 On tap at NY Wine & Culinary Center. Fresh grassy hops aroma, with sweet and musky caramel and grapefruit rind. A bit weak, though. Hazy deep copper-orange, with creamy off-white lacing head. Medium heavy watery body, with medium carbonation, light warming. Starts fairly sweet with caramel and brown sugar, heavy syrup flavor, with orange rind and grassy hop bitterness. Fairly clean finish, with warming alcohol and a lingering sweet after.
mabel (1633), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 21, 2008 [1594-20080816] 1pt0.9floz bottle. Lightly spiced floral aroma. Hazy, light brown orange body with a quick foamy off-white head. Lightly sour characteristics in the flavour with some bitterness. Medium body seems soft. Quite drinkable.
