Sep 24, 2009 On tap at the Elliot Glacier Public House. Colour... golden with a thick off white head. Nose... lightly hoppy and floral. Palate... moderate carbonation, quick hop bite, sweetly malty, somewhat floral, more hops on the soft palate and a long bitter finish.

Jan 19, 2009 Tap @ their Public House... Poured clear orange/amber-ish with a white head. Lots of hops on the nose. Well carbonated with a load of hops up front to help retain the spicy aspects that assaulted the palate. The malted grains came through to the finish.

Dec 20, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. Pours a golden color with a small off-white head. Has a malty hoppy citrus and pine needles aroma. Sweetish malty hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor. Has a malty hoppy bitter flavor.

Jul 19, 2008 Wow, impressive hop nose, citrus fruits, and a bit of grapefruit followed by a small hint of skunky resin. This is a true NW style IPA, great hoppiness on the palate. Kind of disappointed in the malt body, but other than that it is really nicely done.

Aug 2, 2006 Cloudy amber. Fruity-hoppy nose with a hint of caramel. Moderate bitterness, woody hops and a fairly strong malt character - caramel and date sugar. Diacetyl underneath.

Oct 9, 2005 Tap at Hood River Hops Fest. Medium amber colored, fairly clear. Whitish head leaves moderate lacing behind. Citrus and earthy hop aroma with a decent toasty malt balance. Medium bodied with a pleasant mild carbonation. Earth and citrus hop flavors interact well and play nicely with a biscuity, toasty malt background. An interesting blend of Noble and "C" hops.

Aug 27, 2005 (Draft: Elliot Glacier Public House in Parkdale, OR) Sweet and fruity nose is very light on the hops for an IPA. Light gold color, slightly hazy. Light tan head is supplied by dozens of steady, mesmorizing carbonation bubble trails that creep slowly along the edge of the glass. Moderately bitter hops is the principle component of the flavor, but a moderate fruitiness and a sweet, lightly grainy maltiness makes for a nice base. A thin layer of head is retained throughout the session, and leaves a single large patch of white lace on the glass -- is that Elliot Glacier? Very pleasant, and the best of the four on tap at the brewery today.

Mar 19, 2005 Amber with a light, fluffy head and no lace. Sweet caramel nose with some floral hops. Bitter hops in the flavior with hints of soap. Nice malt back. Well balanced with a finish of bitter hops.
