Elliott Bay Barleywine (Pro-Am)

Baking chocolate aroma, some wood. Muddy brown with a barely tan head. Gritty chocolate flavor and texture, small heat comes through in the finish but overall this is a joy to drink. Too bad i can’t get a growler, i would love to age this.

Browned amber, august-looking, with flimsy head. Deep malt with dried fruit. Incredibly complex flavors including a medley of dried fruits, apricot, peach, plum, raisin, wrapped in chocolate. Sweet, but not at all cloying. A dessert accented barleywine. Well done.
