Commercial Description:
This recipe scored a bronze medal at the 2003 GABF in the American Strong Pale Ale category. It screams out "HOPS" from the first whiff to the last lingering drop. Pair that with 7.5% alc./weight and you'll be sure to understand just what the judges saw in this beer.

Amber colored beer, thin head.. Malty aroma of bread perhaps with a ton of hops, pine and citrus mostly. Super hoppy flavors of grapefruit and pine with a touch of caramel maybe. Nice and hoppy. Lingering finish.

On tap at West Seattle brewpub. Pours out a copper topped with a white head. Aroma of fresh citrus. Tast of a nice citrus hop. A littel malt and a very nice bitter end. #1100 for me.
