Spicy pumpkin soap nose with yeast wrapping. Thin semi flat and creamy. Spicy, wheat, yeast, kind of soapy...just really kind of plain Jane and nothing I would need to revisit.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 29, 2009 Pours an orange red with minimal head. Aromas of sugar, slight hint of cinnamon, nutmeg. Full palate. Tastes toasted, of squash of course, and the cloves linger. It’s a different pumpkin. scrizzz (1341), kirkland, Washington, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 31, 2008 Draft @ Elysian Tangletown. Pours a deep, bright ruby-amber color; off-white head with fine-bubbled lacing. Dense amounts of cola, red fruits, and soft pumpkin pie spicing in the aroma; nice and warming. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: dense, chewy dried red fruits, cola, and sweet maltiness; definitely on the sweet, slightly syrupy side, but generous and tasty overall; just a bit sweet. Lengthy finish: dried red fruits, sugar, light spicing; still a sweet ending. after4ever (2839), Brier, Washington, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 20, 2008 Draft at Elysian Great Pumpkin Beer Fest (GPBF) 08. Alas, our esteemed colleagues from the west side will take the wooden spoon for GPBF08. Not sure what happened here. Hazy dark amber with light tan head. Nice spicy tart nose. Creamy medium body. Just so twangy hot for 7.7%. Sharp diacetyl tang under the pie spice. Too bad. CapFlu (3494), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 27, 2007 Bright amber colour. Gorgeous nutmeg & gourd character. Lots of caramel, too. There is a lot of spice in this, but it’s beautifully balanced with lots of malt and pumpkin. Dry, clovey, nutmeggy finish. Excellent - maybe my all time pumpkin classic.
