Draught @ WABF 2008. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Roasted malty chocolate and coffee aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and coffee flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and coffee finish.

WABF. Not quite black with medium head. Instead of a nice, smooth coffee flavor, it is more like drinking the grounds in the last swallow of a cup of coffee. Some nice chocolate comes through in the aroma.and flavor. OK, but def room for improvement.

Great malt and spices added. <br /> Palate – Great Coffee stout Mouthfeel, nice texture with a dry finish. <br /> Overall – This was a great beer. Loved the flavor. Had a great texture and I loved the coffee and smokiness to this beer. Huge beer this is a beer to try on the cold days.

On tap at WABL Fathers Day BrewFest 2008. Pours opaque black with a thin but lacy tan head. Mostly brewed coffee in the nose, with the dark roasty malt falling in line behind it. Medium body and light carbonation. Sweet coffee and stout taste, with th smoke showing up on the finish.
