Ellis Island Hefeweisse

Wheat and lemon in the nose with a light hint of yeast. Pours cloudy yellow orange with no head. Wheat malt and lemon are the dominant flavors in this one. Clean and quaffable with a refreshing finish and som elingering wheat notes. Well done american wheat ale.

Pours a nice hazy golden amber with a medium to large creamy white head. Nice soft wheat notes, light lemon, though that may be because it came with a big hunk of lemon on the edge. Little thin and a touch metallic, with some nice crisp wheat notes to it. Finishes light with a touch of bitterness.

Small sample at the brewery. Nicely carbonated. Nice citrus tastes. Great deal.

cloudy golden yellow colored pour with a soft white head from the tap at the village pub. typical aromas of dust, lemon, earthy spice/coriander and some banana. the flavor is the same with some orange tossed in and a dry yeasty finish. body is medium and has some substance. not bad... especially for a buck! 5/4/6/3/13/3.1

Sample at Ellis Island casino. pours hazy golden, thin white head. Aroma is hoppy, yeasty, some esters>? light nose of banana and grains. Taste, lightly fruity (orange) with light bitter finish, some clove spice.

Pours a hazy amber with a thin white head. Smells of bananas, coriander, cloves. Tastes sweet and wheaty with some nice spicy hints on the finish.

draft at ellis for 1dollar is always nice, white head, very yeasty cloves. lemon is solid.. not a bad beer

(draft @ Ellis Island Casino & Brewery - Las Vegas, NV) Cloudy amber color with a huge white head. Aroma is nearly non-existent sadly. Very little spice and citrus notes to be had. Flavor was much the same. Very watery and grainy with the lightest touch of spices.
