Nothing fancy abou tit. Poured a light hazy yellow. Had a light body. Pretty much all I got was the lemon taste from it, but that probably came more from the lemon wedge in the beer. But it really did hit the spot. And I can’t say it enough, it only cost a dollar for the pint. undsioux7 (561), Cologne, Minnesota, USA

Better than the others I tried at Ellis Island, which isn’t saying much. Wiseblood (658), Clarksville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 19, 2007 Cloudy yellow with a thick white head. Light, lemony aroma. Banana flavor stands out, but with a dirty undertone, maybe from too much yeast. Slight bitter wheaty finish. Very light and boring. dwyerpg (2545), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 9, 2006 Had at the Village Pub. They have this and the amber on tap. Smells like a hefe faintly. Very light-white yellow cloudy coloring. The tate on this is actually pretty decent. A light flavor but not that wheaty. Really pleasantly surprised by this. TheBeerLover (1019), DC Metro Area, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 2, 2006 Enjoyed this one on draught at the casino/brewery in Las Vegas. Hard to argue with $1 pints of this beer, and it really hit the spot in the blazing Vegas heat. Pours to a cloudy, pale golden color, with a rocky white head, and a good bit of carbonation. Not much going on in the nose, just a hint of citrus can be detected. The palate is lean, but with some good, crisp, and tart, wheat malt character. Lacks the signature fruity esters of a classic Bavarian hefe, but again, was very drinkable. This beer finishes with a touch more tart wheat malt up front, then ends with some mild cirtus bitterness. A decent pint for $1, but clearly not a Baravian hefe, rather an American wheat. A good drinking beer in the Vegas heat, one you could pound with impunity. Headbanger (1595), Aurora, Illinois, USA
