Aroma is light and sweet with some hints caramel, malts, and light hops. Flavor is lightly sweet and malty at the beginning with a mild grassy finish. Not too bad. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Jan 14, 2009 On tap at the Ellis Island Casino and Brewpub. Poured a clear gold color with a one finger white head. This was worse than the light lager. I didn’t know that was possible. The aroma was grassy, but in that wet, moldy grass kind of way. The flavor was bland and watery. patrick767 (2016), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Oct 25, 2008 tap at the brewery/casino - Pours yellow with a thin white head. It has a very faint grainy malt aroma. The flavor is sweet, grainy malt and... what the hell... licorice? A pale lager should not taste like licorice. Were they running Jaegermeister through their lines previously? It’s an odd beer and doesn’t work. $1.50 a pint now.
