A black coloured stout which pours with no head. The aroma is dry and roasty with a bit of fruit. Fruity and smoky in the mouth with some oily character. Really pretty fruity. Tasty though. Pours black moving to brown at the edges with an off white head. Good dry roasty bitter bite with some liqourice as well, lovely. Aroma is of light chocolate, really nice beer. Watery. ante (2571), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 4, 2008 Bottled at Monks Cafe, Stockholm. Almost black with a small tan-colored head. Salty and tarry aroma with notes o fcocoa and soil. Light-bodied with notes of salt, burnt malts, grass and black chocolate. Short but rather bitter finish of minty and grassy hops along with salty dark chocolate.
