Bottle, 5.0%. Black colour, seems a little muddy. Roasted flavour, slightly vinous. Watery.

Bottle. Slightly smokey aroma. Quite light on the tongue, with some ashy, roasted malt chaarcters, some light acidity towards the finsh. NOt too bad, nice earthy/leafy characters, with some soft bitterness. Perhaps just abit too light for a stout.

Cask gravity at Nottingham BF 2007. Black beer, thin beige, dry stout. Nothing outstanding, but nothing out of place. Fine.
