Cask (handpump) @ New Oxford, Manchester M4, UK. Clear medium to dark black color with a average, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate, vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. Very nice and easy to drinke. (200108)

Bottle. Black beer with a strong light brown head. The aroma is milky and gently roasted, the flavour is roasted with a smooth bitterness mixed with creaminess. Overall a nice stout.

Bottle. Black with a beige foam. Aromas are smoky earthy roast malts with dark chocolate and liquorice. Flavours are bitter roast coffee with liquorice. Herbal and medicinal with light berry fruit. Floral and smoky with a pretty bitter finish. Good stuff.

Bottle picked up at Bellingers Jet Garage, Grove near Wantage, Oxon, consumed this evening 07-10-08 Another good, simple stout from East Anglia, ok its not quite Wagtail Black Shuck but its not too far away. Pours black moving to brown at the edges with an off white head. Good dry roasty bitter bite with some liqourice as well, lovely. Aroma is of light chocolate, really nice beer.

Bottled. A black coloured stout which pours with no head. The aroma is dry and roasty with a bit of fruit. Fruity and smoky in the mouth with some oily character. Really pretty fruity. Tasty though.
