Pours an almost perfect amber hue for this kind of brew. Small retentive white head. Aroma is lots and lots of sweet tender malts with a bit of fruits tossed between. Flavor is fairly sweet in the malt factory, while also being quite caramely at the same time. A tiny bit of roast is found towards the finish which ends strongly hoppy, and lingers. Pretty good for an amber. dirkweep (5), USA does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 4, 2008 Tasted at Elysian Fields on 1/3/08 -
