Grassy high-res IPA with PNW hops. Gold color, low frothy head. Very thin body, crisp bright hop taste that dissapates quickly. Extra dry, like a martini, which I like, but I wanted more body on this one.

Bright golden pour with a nice foamy head and sticky lacing. Some butter on the aroma followed by some citrus hops, lemon, lime, orange. Flavors of lemon, lime, orange, butter, and some biscuits. Medium body, light hoppy finish. This would probably be a lot better if the QC took care of the butter. Apparently this one was the first Elysian beer brewed at New Belgium.

Had on tap at the Elysian on Capitol Hill. lightish brown hue with a medium to small off white head. Hops did not stand out from a normal IPA. Palate was a little better than typical Elyisan, which is usually watery.

Aroma – Nice mild Hops aroma with a light malt backing.
Appearance – Amber in color, clear with a nice head.
Flavor – Mild IPA flavor the hops where not overly bitter. The malt was good and added to the flavor.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, Good texture with a dry finish.
Overall – A very nice IPA this beer was just average as IPA go for the Pac NW.
