22oz bottle acquired in trade with riversideAK (thanks!). Poured a medium and clear amberish color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of jasmine flowers, floral, caramel, some breadiness, and herbal. Tastes of jasmine, citrus, caramel, and I wrote down ’different’. Different but I was digging it. On the sweeter side with the alcohol content hidden.

Bottle … Clear golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. The aroma is certainly different – perfume, pale grain, corn and jasmine. Medium to full-bodied with tickling carbonation. Well-balanced. Sweet, flowery and lightly bitter. The bittering hops are packed with flavor more so than bitterness. Lightly sweet, floral finish.

Draft at RNH AKA Batch 2000. Pours a dark amber body with a tan head. Banana, clove, and candy sugar notes. Willy wonka’s banana candies, sweet notes and some lighter spices in the background.

Bottle via a trade with Americanbrew. Pours with a large, eggshell colored head and a hazy amber body. Aroma of jasmine, florals, lavender, herbal hops, mint, grass and melon. Different. Taste is mint, herbal, melon, jasmine, and eucalyptus. Interesting flavor. Lightish bodied for a DIPA, cream bubbles and low residual sugars.

draft at the pike street pub. brewed as their 2000th batch. pours a murky burnished dark amber with a dense creamy, short lived head. big nose of floral jasmine, sweet pine hop, and butter. phooey to the butter. thick body, carb rises oh so slowly. lovely sweet mid palate of jasmine, pine, and caramel. long resin finish. big and interesting.

On draft at Capitol Hill location. I was hanging out with BVC and some dude who really liked going to the Pelican Brewpub in Pacific City, Oregon. Nice aroma on this one, good deal of sweet floral jasmine, lots of hops, citrus, floral notes, some vanilla and some bready/biscuity sweetness. Pours golden orange with a nice head and good lacing. Sweetness up front from the malt - not cloying, but well done, followed by floral jasmine notes and a solid citrus bitterness to balance out the sweetness and interesting jasmine notes. Not over the top, very harmonious and rather drinkable at 9%. I liked it and wouldn’t mind having more. The only thing I might have liked more about this if it were slightly more hoppy.Oh well. I will also send in all the specs when I am not being lazy so we can get more info on this bad boy.

Bottle:   Thats a lot of sediment at the bottom of this bottle.   Pours a pale caramel, fiery, moderate frothy white head, with spotty lacing.   Strong Jasmine nose... very VERY floral.   Did I mention this seems very floral?   Immediate Jasmine up front, but it subsides quickly leaving other floral aspects.   Seems very heavy, maltiness is way up there.   Not as biting or Jasmine like as the standard, but it still remains very floral.   This feels hardly like an IIPA other than the increased malts.   Any bitterness comes from... well its not the hops.   I almost get Dandelion juice out of this.   Thats the kind of bitterness I can best describe as it doent appear to be hop oriented.   I like the fact that its fairly malty, but this one is so unique, so powerful, that I wish I had a whole crapload of food to eat while drinking this.   Not sure what I would pair with this... beef comes to mind, but I would certainly have some food handy when tackling this one.   I enjoy this one moreso than the standard Jasmine as it is heavier in the malts and not as biting in its floralness, but its still got a HUGE floral base.   Yeah, Jasmine up front, Dandelion in the middle, followed up with a big floral malt backbone.   Interesting to say the least.
