| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 14, 2009 Pours an orange/amber color with a thin white head. Aroma was floral, caramel, not very hoppy, very vegetal, almost some strange broccoli hints. Flavor was the same, some floral notes, some almost cloying sweetness, and a big hit of broccoli water. Not my favorite beer. Beardface (1036), Eugene, Oregon, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 4, 2009 22 oz bottle from Market of Choice. Pours out a light amber color with some solid head and light lacing. Aroma is heavy on the floral side of things, with a light caramel malt smell as well. Flavor is exactly the same, quite flowery backed with light malt. Okay brew, but not one I’ll need to re-visit anytime soon. obxdude10 (1563), Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 29, 2009 This is a pretty decent IPA, but it seems to be missing something. The beer pours a light copper color with a decent off-white head. The nose features hints of grass, caramel malt and, I’m just guessing here, those jasmine flowers. I have never smelled or tasted anything like a jasmine flower, so I’m assuming that’s what this unidentifiable flavor is. It appears in the body as well, naturally. This is a pretty well-balanced beer, but missed a bit on the overall inclusion of malt. There’s plenty of hops and other IPA-like notes, but this one just didn’t have the malty backbone that all the great ones have. glennmastrange (868), hobe sound, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 21, 2009 Bottle. Moderate malt aromas of dark bread, caramel, grain and cereal, light to moderate herb note for the hops, light dough for the yeast, with hints of dark dried fruits. Head is small, fizzy with large bubbles, white, with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is clear amber. Flavor starts lightly sweet, moderately acidic and lightly bitter, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery but a little slick, with a lively carbonation and a very dry finish. A light and unique smelling IPA. tomer (380), Rishon Le Zion, Israel
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 21, 2009 At a tasting, thanks david, dark orange colour with streaks of pomegrande red, the aroma begins with a sheet of mellow jasmine then developing into a complex flowery nose with notes of grapefruit, peach and honey. Hoppy bitterness too strong and overpowering, some fruit and gflowers hiding in the corner, pleasant long bitter aftertaste. zvikar (436), Tel-Aviv, Israel
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 19, 2009 At a tasting, thanks David, Honey orange color with a medium head, some off-flavors like mushrooms, some urine like acidity but some nice aromas of jasmine and perfums, mainly bitter like chest nuts bitterness, mandarine and caramel can be sensed in between, this IPA is a bit to much. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 18, 2009 Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks David Cohen! 6.5%. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma of jasmine, flowers and hops. Spicy flavor of over-brewed jasmine tea and decent hop bitterness in the finish. A bit of malt in the background. Medium-bodied. gracefullypunk (350), Washington, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 10, 2009 Haven’t had a jasmine IPA before and I thought it worked well. Pours a golden brown with plenty of bubbles and leaves a bit of lacing. Aromas of brown sugar and floral. The mouthfeel was a little too thick but I really enjoyed the flavors of orange and peppery hops mixing with sugar and jasmine.
