Sep 6, 2008 I really like this. Very good and unusual. Sour apple in the flavor and aroma, but it fits. Lots of flowers as well. The jasmine is unmistakable. Rocky head. Tons of sediment, which I assume is from the jasmine as well as yeast. Sweet malt and bitter hops with more flowers in the flavor. Smooth. Very creative. Thanks to Skyview for sharing.

Aug 31, 2008 Tap @ Westside Brewing Company, NYC. Pours a deep golden/yellow with a fluffy white head. Aroma is citrus hops with a lovely floral note that reminds me ever-so-slightly of Southampton’s superlative Cuvee des Fleurs. Taste is citrus and hops up front dissolving into an absolutely lovely floral characteristic at the end. I applaud the balance and the strength of taste the beer displays. Bravo, Elysian! This is the first thing I’ve had from this brewery, and it won’t be the last.

Aug 24, 2008 On tap and in bombers many times. This lovely creation is quite the Seattle favorite. Pours a darker yellow with a white foamy head. Wafting hop filled citrusy aroma...one of the most floral you’ll ever come in contact with. The flavor has a well built malt profile that gets slammed in a great way by a load of citrusy hops that are doused in a subtle yet powerful jasmine floral body. The hops and jas blend together beautifully to create a nice lasting fairly dry finish. Goodness...and this is one the ladies love too!

Aug 21, 2008 Sweet resiny pine nose with jasmine green tea and floral notes. Tight medium head, copper orange and slight haze. Honey sweetness with a different kind of bitterness, more of a tannic jasmine green tea bitterness. Mild carbonation, nice finish. it could use a little more alcohol, but a very interesting and different IPA.

Aug 17, 2008 An interesting choice of adjunct for an IPA - the jasmine actually comes through a lot more than I expected, as jasmine is quite mild - it is pretty strong in the flavor, and works really well with the hop profile - the malts are lean and biscuity, allowing the hops to dry out the finish - the odd vegetal quality I tasted in their regular IPA is also present in this one, but the hops and jasmine do a good job of covering it up - some herbal, tea-like components are also complimented well by the jasmine - pretty nice.
