Mar 17, 2008 Bottle. Light amber in color with a fluffy white head that left a nice lacing on the glass. Earthy, musty fruity aroma.Peach, apple and spicy notes. Cinnamon and clove citrusy flavor. Coriander yeasty notes. Finish is spicy. Tart. Dry mouthfeel. Drinkable. Decent beer.

Jan 9, 2008 22 oz. bottle. light amber color with a creamy white head. Lots of bubbles streaming to the surface ; looks like a volcano creating a foam dome in the middle of the glass, pretty cool, actually. Nice thick lacing as well. Musty, earthy leathery smell. Medium bodied with a dry mouthfeel. Strong, tart citrusy lemongrass taste. Lots of sweet tart lemony flavors. Finishes very dry and clean.

Jan 3, 2008 I opened this beer with the mistaken assumption that it would be just another tripel... how wrong I was. Poured a lovely peach orange with a creamy head, at first pour loose and bubbly and uncontrollable, and then when I finished the bottle thick and creamy and lovely. Amazing lacing. Aroma is mandarin orange, mulling spice, I could sniff this thing all night. I was completely unprepared for the flavour my wife thought that I hated it because I was so surprised. This is perhaps the most charismatic tripel I have ever tasted - strong alcohol, hops galore - hoppy finish more like a Saison than a tripel. Lots of fruit - peach, apple, even carrot & cinnamon. Body is creamy and perfectly carbonated. Alcohol kick is brutally euphoric. Lots of residual yeast in the bottom. What a treat - I wish I had another bottle to share with friends. This Saison-like Tripel is second to none.
