Nov 8, 2006 Bomber. Pours cloudy orange/amber with an utterly towering white bubbly head. Big nose of green apples and pears. Medium body, sharp carb (no visibly active carb though). Sugar’s not overpowering in the palate by any means, though it comes through as tree fruit sugar in the nose. Nice complex bitter finish with some herbal snap to it.

Oct 23, 2006 On tap at Elysian, Seattle. Cloudy orange/gold colour with lasting off white head. Lemon/wheat Belgian yeast wit aroma. Lots of fruit in mouth, tangerine/lemon, good intense fruit balanced by hop and cereal. Very zesty. Belgian wit and tripel collide. Excellent flavours especially the zesty citrus fruits.

Oct 22, 2006 22 ounce bottle. Clear golden blonde with a rich white head. Lots of CO2 and lace. Grassy, herbal, lightly sweet aroma. Bold herbal flavo. Maybe some citrus. Some baked goods. Maybe kind of stale. Abrasive CO2, and very heavy mouthfeel. Not really a good example.

Sep 27, 2006 Updated: Dec 3, 2006tap at the brewpub - Pours cloudy orangish with a moderate head. There’s a sweet smelling aroma with some yeast and citrus. The flavor is sweet with mild citrus and spice notes. This is a smooth, light, and easy drinking for the style. It could use more depth, but it’s good.

Sep 15, 2006 Bottle and served in a NB Worthy glass, poured a very murky yellow hue with a small but lasting head with better than average lace. The aroma is candi sugar, honey, alcoholic vapor, spicy and floral hops, plum and peach extract, and a lot of yeasty vapors. The taste starts fruity and ripen pear sweet with a yeasty and biscuity background. Very floral and slightly spicy throughout. A nice sipping brew that is close enough to style to enjoy. The mouth feel is lush and soft with a mild bite on the finish. A good brew and middle of the road.

Sep 13, 2006 Cloudy yellow with no head. Spicey yeast aroma, banana, pepper. The taste has the same spice qualities to it as well as some fruit and a bit of sweetness. Sticky mouthfeel . A tasty beverage.

Sep 9, 2006 22 oz bottle: cloudy gold hay. Large, fluffy, white – cloudy-like head. Doughy aroma with toasted grains, light cloves, honey and light strawberry alcohol. Creamy palate with bits of banana and spicy black pepper. Bubble gum yeast and cloves provide a fairly traditional finishing taste. In the end enjoyable; tasty and a wonderful price.
