This beer pours a clear orange color with a medium off-white head that dissipates slowly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Spicy aroma with notes of malt and fruit. Medium-bodied with flavors of toasted malt, honey and sweet spices, followed by mild hops and fruit. The finish is sweet and spiced with light hops and citrus aftertaste. Decent all around. Hazy amber, average off-white head. Sweet, mildly leafy aroma, lightly spicy. Sweet apricot malt balanced by very bitter floral hops (rosehips), a bit of a boozy sting to the tail. Light bodied, astringent with a long pungently bitter finish and linger - oddly floral, but I liked it a lot. tupalev (2617), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Strong sweet caramel aroma. Medium orange, small white head. Great taste - lots of hops, really malty, some sort of very interesting fruit/fruitiness. Complex and interesting, it is not winter, but I can see why this would make a good winter warmer. blankboy (3207), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Pours a cloudy orange-amber with an average size diminishing white head. Aroma of caramel malt, sweetness and light floral hops. Flavour of caramel malt and a touch of fruit. Long bitter finish. Average bodied. Meh, nothing wrong with this but somewhat dull stuff. jerc (3936), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Aroma of strange malt, slightly inappropriate notes I may be reading too much into. Pleasant hoppy bitterness up front, sweet lightly toasty malts in the middle, finish is sort of harsh with astringent bitterness. Average palate. Just can’t get into this one.
