May 10, 2007 A very good Barley Wine. Little to no head. Good color and aroma. The taste starts out with Raisons, figs, carmel and molassas and finishes with maple syrup. Good lacing.

Mar 17, 2007 05 Bottle from Larry Pitonka. Cloudy orange color with nice white head. Sweet malty aroma, also pick up some alcohol in there.Rich, sweet and chewy with full malty mouthful. Caramel flavors dominate this brew. Lacing all over the glass. Beautiful barleywine. Thanks, Andre’

Oct 22, 2006 A hazy amber beer with a light orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of hops, as well as lighter notes of alcohol and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also a light metallic note from the alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic end, where the alcohol burns slightly in the top of the throat.
