Feb 22, 2009 Bottle at Cole’s in Buffalo, NY. Pours unclear orange with a beige head. Sweet malt aroma with some fruity citric hops. The flavor has a nice fruity caramel sweetness with a very pleasant hoppy finish. The hop profile really makes this beer, it isn’t overpowering by any means, but it really complements the other flavors well.

Feb 17, 2009 On tap at Toronado for Barleywine fest ’09. Amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is malt, dark fruits, brown sugar, Northwest-style hops, and the "wacky weed" if you know what I mean. Flavor is more of the same, full-bodied with alcohol.

Feb 16, 2009 Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Hazy dark amber colored pour. Nose is caramelized dark fruits, brown sugar and booze. Taste is the same with additional notes of vanilla. I like it.

Feb 13, 2009 Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a off-white head that fades over the muddy orange-amber body. Aroma of maple, brown sugar, dark fruits, alcohol and raisins. Taste is dark fruits, sugar, alcohol and hop bitterness. Syrupy mouthfeel.
