| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 10, 2009 I liked this one more than most other raters--I thought it had a more complex taste than others are giving it credit for. the aroma was smoked, peppery, vanilla, bourbon and coffee, with the same tastes along with a slight bitter grassy taste. Perhaps it was just different, after 15 tastes, but I thought it an enjoyable stout. glkaiser (1172), Seattle, Washington, USA
