Tap at blind tiger. One of the more solid beers of the night. Pours a nice clean looking light to medium bright orangey amber with a thin lasting head and nice lace. Aroma is nice and citrusy, tons of tropical fruits and nice nutty toasty maltiness. Flavor is clean and smooth- nice hop and malt balance, clean sweet caramel malts, some medium burnt toast, and nice citrus, torpical and grapefruit hops. Solid APA.

[1111-20080217] Tap @ Elysian Fields (Seattle, WA). Fruity twinged yeast aroma has a hint of cheddar cheese. Hazy, brown orange body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Cheddar notes continue in flavour along with toasted malt and strong bitter hops. Raspy medium body has a bit of a kick. Nice. (Funny rating number!)

(Draught) Sampled at the brewpub on October 17, 2007. Lasting, thin white head with a deep orange body. Almost bland English malt and hop flavour à la Hart Amber Ale in Ottawa. Elixir orange hops melds with bitter mild malt.

On tap at Elysian Brewing Seattle, pours out a nice light amber topped with a cream white head. Light hops and a little soap as well. The end has a little bitter on it.

Poured a lightly hazed golden color with a large off white head. Mild-moderately hipped aroma with citrus and grapefruit notes. The flavor was malty and semi-sweet woth a mild to moderate grapefruit hop. Fairly bitter with a dry finish.
