Golden-amber colour with a finger of foam. Earthy aroma (really surprised this is Simcoe and Amarillo - maybe they changed it this year?) speaks of English hops with a hint of diacetyl. Woody, earthy bitterness balanced by toasty & pale malts. Flavour is clean. Nicely done.

Had it out of a bottle recently. Not really that excited by it. I think there are much better Pale Ales on the market. Certainly wasn’t worth twice as much as the other beers I bought that same night. Almost as much for one bottle as it would cost me at a baseball game. It is a rich tasting beer, certainly different than I have had before. Lucky for me I have more so I can try it again later.

Bottle Pours a slightly hazy medium amber with a huge frothy off-white head, very thick coarse lacing. Aroma is sweet, malty and hoppy. Citrus rind is very apparent. Flavors are consistant with citrus, malt and lots of hops. Like an IPA to me. Feel is a bit thin and the aftertaste is a steady hops bite.

Dark amber, thick frothy head, some lace. Lots of hops. Piney and grapefruit aromas. Some caramel background but it’s well blended. Roast and caramel malts stand out. The hops are blended well with floral and pine. Some more citrus leading to grapefruit. Everything is a pretty good balance. Smooth palate and cleansing. Medium body and a rich and complex finish. Nice.

Dark amber color with dark hard floaties & a light thin head. The aroma is citrusy with pine and fragrant hops. The flavor is balanced with some tangy grapefruit front feet & mild caramelized malt back feet. Finishes dry & hoppy. Good hops but not as full boided not refreshing as I thought, a bit sweet too.

Clear amber witha medium off-white head. Sweet malt and citrus hops. Flavor is what you would expect, medium sweet malts and cius hops. Pretty good for the style. Medium body, lingering flavors.
