| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 3, 2005 Draught @ Flying Pig, Everett WA Golden-amber colour with a finger of foam. Earthy aroma (really surprised this is Simcoe and Amarillo - maybe they changed it this year?) speaks of English hops with a hint of diacetyl. Woody, earthy bitterness balanced by toasty & pale malts. Flavour is clean. Nicely done. argo0 (6907), Washington DC, USA

Sweaty sock hop aroma and flavour. Very bitter finish. Some caramel, bit of buttery diacetyl maybe? I can’t see any other reason t have that butter. Could be better. duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 22, 2004 Tap@Elysian. Some aromatic sweet hops in the aroma. Lightly sweet, malts are toffee-ish, and the finish is decently hoppy, but definitely not over the top or anything, medium bitter finish. Pleasant, easy drinking. jcwattsrugger (5451), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 29, 2008 Deep amber beer, white head. Aroma is very fresh and hoppy. Loaded with grapefruit, pine and tropical fruitiness. There is a bit of resinous bitterness on the back with just a hint of woodiness. Quite a nice pale ale, probably bordering on IPA territory, not that I’m complaining.
