Beautiful fresh hop aroma. Even after 15 minutes. Wow. This has more bittering hops than the IPA. Strong bitterness but very good.

Light amber color, fluffy white head. Aroma is fairly hoppy, with a little bit of caramel, some floral, and almost like a toffee background. Taste is pretty hoppy, with a nice caramel sweetness to it, also with a a tea like aspect. Body is great for the style. Top Notch APA.

This beer isn’t available at very many local pubs, but when I see it, I’ll usually order a pint. It has a great citric hop nose, and makes for a great session beer.

Draft. Pours a copper amber body with an off white head. Very fresh hop character, grassy with grapefruit and pine notes. Very fresh and delicious. What more can i say, this is awesome!

Draft at Elysian Fields. Pours crystal clear medium amber with yet another of the patented thick and moussy off-white Elysian heads. Unfortunately, there’s also another dab of butter on the nose of this one. Some nice grass and spice to keep that butter company, though, and that’s good news. Attack is reasonably restrained--the balance is right where it needs to be to throw open the door for the big hop flavors of the mid-palate and the finish. What a great mix of hops, too. Sweet and grassy continental flavors alongside forwardly spicy and resinous American stickiness. This is a bad-ass summer beer without a doubt.

GABF 2002: med amber, nice head. Nice citric hop aroma. Flavorful and balanced. Strong hop flavor with plenty of caramel malt balance.

Lovely cidery autumn orange-red appearance with abundant floral cascade hop aroma. Rounded hop taste with slightly light finish, but no appearance of metallic bitterness. A fine IPA.

Golden-amber colour with a finger of foam. Earthy aroma (really surprised this is Simcoe and Amarillo - maybe they changed it this year?) speaks of English hops with a hint of diacetyl. Woody, earthy bitterness balanced by toasty & pale malts. Flavour is clean. Nicely done.
