SuzyGreenberg (1028), Seattle, Washington, USA Jul 8, 2008 draft @ elysain fields - clear and dark amber with slight white head; fruity hops are primary aromas and flavors; crisp and not too bitter; some sweetness too, but lacking a little bit in that department; overall a nice APA
darn1207 (329), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Sep 30, 2008 on tap from elysian fields brewpub in seattle after a mariners game. copper pour with white fluff head. light citrus hop, spice and wood in aroma. hop and bitterness with mildly sweet pale malts. good bitter finish. liked this more as it warmed. K-7.5 Skyview (2901), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Aug 20, 2008 On draught at the Elysian brewery in Seattle, Washington. Pours a semi-clear copper amber brew with an average off-white head that slowly dissipates to a thin off-white ring and film top. Aroma of light caramel and golden grain malt, citrus and flowery hops, a touch of pine and some light spice. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of mostly citrus and flowery hops that hides some of the caramel and biscuity malt flavors. Finish is semi-dry, with a lingering citrus and flowery hop aftertaste. A little hoppy for an APA but still pretty decent. riversideAK (1632), Shoreline, Washington, USA Aug 6, 2008 Copper colored with a nice head and lace.
