On tap. Pours red gold with thick beige head and some clingyness. Aromas of caramel, burnt sugar and some breadiness. Bit funky with earthy hops and a bitter grapefruit finish. Florals come out with food.

Oct 15, 2009 On tap at the Elysian Fields pub. Colour... dark gold with no head. Nose... light hops and some malt. Palate... lightly hoppy, malty and citrusy. Kind of blah, really.

Oct 3, 2009 Beautiful fresh hop aroma. Even after 15 minutes. Wow. This has more bittering hops than the IPA. Strong bitterness but very good.

Sep 21, 2009 Draft. Pours a copper amber body with an off white head. Very fresh hop character, grassy with grapefruit and pine notes. Very fresh and delicious. What more can i say, this is awesome!

Mar 22, 2009 Pours a cloudy orange with a lovely thick head. Aroma is rife with piney hops - nice! Mild but fresh leafy late-hop taste, disappointingly thin malting. Creamy with low carbonation, but it was on cask so it is to be expected. Quaffable with nice finishing hops.

Jan 4, 2009 clear light amber red with creamy heavy head. crisp floral hop aroma with a touch of more refined flora. flavor of bittering hops and a tad watery and flat.

Sep 30, 2008 on tap from elysian fields brewpub in seattle after a mariners game. copper pour with white fluff head. light citrus hop, spice and wood in aroma. hop and bitterness with mildly sweet pale malts. good bitter finish. liked this more as it warmed. K-7.5
