Densely sedimented. Yellow. Thick, creamy white head. Big sweet malt nose with light coriander, calamansi. Full-bodied, balanced between a lush marshmallowy sweetness and a subtle acidic bite of obscure citrus. Coriander is apparent but restrained. Hop spiciness in the finish makes a perfect accent. Well thought-out wit.

Tap at Blind Tiger. Cloudy yellow beer with a white head. Aroma is very citrusy and loaded with coriander. Flavour is the same, all coriander with no real yeastiness or subtlety at all. Bright coriander flavour with a touch of soapiness that comes from that as well. Malts are a bit muted and not all that good. A touch of wheatiness, but not much. I can’t say I’m a fan of this one.

BT. Pours a nice hazy blanche with a thin lasting white head and some lace. Aroma is spicy, yeasty, phenolic- light clove but medium amounts of bubblegum, and lemon zest- slight soapyniess. Flavor is a bit slick and thin- wheaty doughy, orange rind, lemon, yeasty phenols, and a slight tartness in the end with a weak finish. Ok witbier, but it is lacking a bit of body, and just didnt excite me too much.

Draft at Elysian Fields. Pours cloudy bright golden with a dense but shallow platinum blonde head. Minimal lace. Bright candied herbs on the nose, smells sweet and pungent. Creamy medium body, refreshing. Forward flavor of basil. Yeah. Basil. Not much else. After the rather monochromatic effort at herbs and spices, the flavors fall away to fairly well nothing and the finish is not much. Has a lot going for it in the way of appearance and mouthfeel. Needs some work on flavor and aromatics.

Aroma is very citrusy with orange and lemon fruit loops and a soft touch of wheat and spice. Pours a light orange yellow with a minuscule head. Light flavors of wheat, citrus(lemon and orange), and a soft spice. Light bodied and quenching.

Tap at Barcade: Cloudy light golden with a fizzy white film for head. Aroma is coriander and lemon, with a touch of wheat malt sharpness. Nice and bright. Fizzy body. Flavor is bright as well. Nice coriander presence and soft citrus notes. Has a touch of honey as well, making it reminiscent of honeysuckle. An easy going and well made Witbier.

Tap at Blind Tiger. Beautifully murky pour like the best Fantomes. A good spiciness in the aroma is complimented by some awesome and atypical grapefruit. Nice bready flavor with a ton of yeast and unfortunately some diacetyl. Overall a nice drinker though.

Taster - Washington Brewers Festival - Kenmore, WA
Aroma – Light wit beer with a nice orange peel and coriander aroma.
Appearance – Light straw golden in color, hazy with a thin head.
Flavor – Nice Belgian flavor with a good fruit flavor in the finish.
Palate – Good Mouthfeel, nice texture with a dry Belgian finish.
Overall – A very nice wit beer this was a pleasure to drink with the right amount of spices and fruit flavor.
