Densely sedimented. Yellow. Thick, creamy white head. Big sweet malt nose with light coriander, calamansi. Full-bodied, balanced between a lush marshmallowy sweetness and a subtle acidic bite of obscure citrus. Coriander is apparent but restrained. Hop spiciness in the finish makes a perfect accent. Well thought-out wit.

Tap at Blind Tiger. Cloudy yellow beer with a white head. Aroma is very citrusy and loaded with coriander. Flavour is the same, all coriander with no real yeastiness or subtlety at all. Bright coriander flavour with a touch of soapiness that comes from that as well. Malts are a bit muted and not all that good. A touch of wheatiness, but not much. I can’t say I’m a fan of this one.

BT. Pours a nice hazy blanche with a thin lasting white head and some lace. Aroma is spicy, yeasty, phenolic- light clove but medium amounts of bubblegum, and lemon zest- slight soapyniess. Flavor is a bit slick and thin- wheaty doughy, orange rind, lemon, yeasty phenols, and a slight tartness in the end with a weak finish. Ok witbier, but it is lacking a bit of body, and just didnt excite me too much.

On tap at the Fields in Seatown--Soapy golden body with a small creamy white head. Grainy, gritty, crisp, floral, wheaten, and semi-sweet. Citrus bite in the finish with some sweet sugar and honey flavors.

Draft at Elysian Fields. Pours cloudy bright golden with a dense but shallow platinum blonde head. Minimal lace. Bright candied herbs on the nose, smells sweet and pungent. Creamy medium body, refreshing. Forward flavor of basil. Yeah. Basil. Not much else. After the rather monochromatic effort at herbs and spices, the flavors fall away to fairly well nothing and the finish is not much. Has a lot going for it in the way of appearance and mouthfeel. Needs some work on flavor and aromatics.
