BillKismet (1401), Seattle, Washington, USA Nov 17, 2007 Light orange amber with decent head. Easy pilsner understated malt aroma and flavor with dash of pumpkin. Unfortunately, ginger is undetectable, because it would have spruced up this beer nicely. Bit of sulfur and sourness on finish. glkaiser (909), Seattle, Washington, USA Nov 11, 2007 Slightly hazy with medium head. Spicy ginger in the aroma. Ginger in the taste with a nice spicy hop finish. Thick for a pilsner. I really didn’t think I’d like this "pumpkin pilsner", but I love it. Worked well for me. CapFlu (3273), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Nov 11, 2007 (Draught) Sampled at Elysian Pumpkin Beer Festival on October 20, 2007. Lasting thin white foamy head and clear amber body. Nose of catnip, ginger. Very ginger flavour. Nice switch-up beer at this festival. Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Oct 27, 2007 Hazy blond kind of like Christoffel. Pale malt nose with light ginger. Extra ginger - the assertive ginger is a riot, the hoppy snap is fun...nice brew. So untraditional but yet so tasty, even when viewed as a pils (which nominally it is intended to be).
