SuzyGreenberg (1028), Seattle, Washington, USA Jul 8, 2008 draft @ elysian fields - clear gold with slight white head; sweet honey and mild hops; slight spice too; pomegranate was not very noticeable, but this was a decent pale ale nevertheless; if anything, i think it made this very dry
riversideAK (1648), Shoreline, Washington, USA Aug 7, 2008 Golden colored brew with a decent head. Lots of grainy malt with a decent tartness. Flavors of grainy biscuits and medium tart pomegranate. Light with a little sweet/tart balance. BillKismet (1443), Seattle, Washington, USA Jun 18, 2008 Bronze with nice foamy head. Britt-hop aroma without notable pomegranate. Light pomegranate flavor, quite mild and muted with indistinctive malting and mild Britt-hop flavor. Honeyed pomegranate twang on finish. A mildly flavored pale ale. Bradrcr (617), Renton, Washington, USA May 24, 2008 5/2/08 on draught at Elysian Fields. Aroma is sweet malt with a light fruity note and no hop flora. Appearance is lightly hazy copper gold with a moderate white head. Flavor is sweet and fruity but starchy and bitter like there was a bit too much skin in the brew. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a moderate carb texture but no bite. Overall, cool but a bit too sweet to really stand out or have more than one. Dogbrick (2266), Columbus, Ohio, USA May 20, 2008 Sample at the Pike Street location. This beer pours a clear yellow-orange color with a medium thin and creamy white head that recedes steadily. Small patches of lacing. The aroma is sweet pomegranate with touches of honey and hops. Light-bodied with a sweet fruity character, the flavorful pomegranate being backed up by malt, spices and hops. The finish is fruity with a sweet lingering aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
