bottled, pours dark brown with nice tan head with large bubbles, aroma of roasted malt, taste of roasted malt with nice light coffee presence with mild hop end, leaves palate quicker then expected, not bad.

Oct 6, 2008 Bottle. Pours deep brown with a tan head. Lightly roasted aroma with sweet caramel and a touch of hops. The flavor is a little smoky, which I love, and and also has notes of coffee, roast and floral hops. Nice.

Oct 4, 2008 22 ounce bottle split in pint glass. Dark brown/black with lasting tan head and lace. Roasted dark chocolate and chocolate chip cookie aroma. Rich roasted dark chocolate mild coffee hint of smoke mild dark fruit and medium bitterness. Medium body and medium low carbo. Excellent mouthfeel. Fairly complex. Lots of flavor for the abv. I like it.
