The star of the show for Elysian is this beer. with its hazy golden amber color, smells of banana cloves, fruit punch and spice and a taste of sour fruit, it is very unique. One of the best Saison I have ever had.

This was my first saison and I must say that I enjoyed it. It had a great aroma and good hazy golden orange color with a healthy head to boot. A very crisp refreshing flavor that was sweet and then tart a second later. The mouth feel was very refreshing as well light but with some body. I was really happy with this (a selection made by the wife) and look forward to trying some other saisons.

2 or 3 year old bottle, not sure which!...Clear pale orange: much less head than other bottles of this I've tried over the past couple of years, though still some nice foam.Slight aroma of wet earth and dried rose petal. Flavor has cleaned up a bit, with some quenching acidity, balanced with a creamy, smoky(almost) mid-palate, with later notes of thyme and mandarin orange. This is a very nice bottle of Saison Elysee!

Amber in color with a medium white head.Aroma of clove,fruit,pepper and spice.Orange falvor balanced by the clove,malt and spicy hops.Refreshingly tart finish.

Tan colour, very cloudy. The aroma is fun - leathery, phenolic, quite spicy. Fairly tart body, a little funky. Spicy, yeasty, a tiny bit gueuzy.
